OCTANE ELITE AIR RIFLE
The most recent version of the Octane, known as the Umarex Octane Elite .22, has a newly designed rugged composite stock and incorporates the innovative Umarex StopShox Technology, making this Umarex a best-seller and even deadlier on small game. The biggest addition to this small game hunting design is the Umarex StopShox Anti-Recoil system. This feature is designed to cushion the forward thrust and recoil of the gas piston for a smooth shooting experience. The all-weather stock is design for an optimal shooter feel. The new design has a wider rear stock for a better cheek weld, an enlarged pistol grip, and palm swell on the foregrip and is thicker than the original in all the right places. Shoot the Octane Elite 22 caliber air rifle with fiber optic green and red sights or use the included 3-9×40 AO air gun scope for zeroing in on targets and small game. With the Octane Elite, you have all the advantages of a hard shooting a gas piston, with the attention to detail Umarex is known for.

Under Federal Law, airguns and BB guns are not classified as firearms and are legal for all ages. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to buy airguns, however; a person of any age may use one.
AGE RESTRICTIONS WHEN BUYING SHOOTING ACCESSORIES
There is no age restriction when buying airgun pellets or BBs (ammo) or other shooting accessories. However, items such as GAS and CO2 may have an 18 years restriction applied.
MINIMUM AGE YOU CAN OWN OR FIRE AN AIRGUN
There is no age restriction to own or to operate an airgun. It is within the law for a person that is 18 years or over to purchase an airgun and gift it to a person that is under the age of 18 years of age to own and operate. So, a parent can buy an airgun and give it to their child to use or keep regardless of their age. We recommend that an adult should supervise persons under the age of 14 years.
